It can be a little scary to be surrounded by people who are ten times more excited to be there than you are, people who are liable at any moment to “free hug” you or start yelling and doing weird things.
Don’t get me wrong, they’re fun. But sometimes, other peoples’ fun can be disturbing or embarrassing to be around… Mostly because memories of being this way in the past come flooding back.
